Clarification of Log messages associated with Conserver Modes

KB "How conserve mode is triggered" differentiates between two types of Conserve Modes:

[ul]
  • "(Regular) Conserve Mode" - availability of free memory allocated for Shared Memory from total memory; and
  • "Kernel Conserve Mode" - availability of free memory from 'Low' Memory Zone (dedicated to the kernel).[/ul]

The KB, shows same SYSLOG message "The system has entered system conserve mode" for both. However, I'm quite sure that I have previously seen another Log Message, log_id=0100022011, "Kernel enters conserve mode".

If the "Kernel enters conserve mode" message has been removed in newer FortiOS versions, how can administrator differentiate between the two events?

Edit: If "free" is greater than "entermargin" within the log message, then the event cannot be about a "(Regular) Conserve Mode", hence, by elimination, it must be a "Kernel Conserve Mode". However, this isn't a neat way of showing it.
