Changing management from FortiEdge to Fortilink?

Hi all,

What would be the best way to migrate fortiswitch/AP management to Fortilink from FortiEdge/FortiLAN?

I was thinking of resetting the configurations on the switch and turning on the security fabric connection on the uplink interface -- when I set up the switches, I changed the LLDP settings and turned off fortilink discovery off.

Hi Camellia

As per my knowledge there is no need to reset the FortiSwitch. Once you authorize it on the new managing FortiGate, it will automatically get the new config from the FGT.

Thanks for the swift response! Sounds like we'll just have to undo the fortilink discovery related changes we made on the switches, then enable fortilink on the aggregate interface upstream.
