Changing EMS to invitation only

Hi, We're going to be changing our EMS registration to invitation only. I cannot find clarity on whether this disables existing registrations that didn't have an invite originally, or if existing registrations stay enabled and the change only affects new endpoints. Any insight appreciated!

When you enable "Enforce invitation-only registration for ALL"  it disconnects the existing users/devices and makes the end user reconnect to the EMS using an invitation code which in turn allows the EMS admin to authorize the end user.

    On the endpoint screen, does hitting action/ switch EMS/ switch by invitation assign an invitation to existing endpoints or am I misunderstanding that?
