Captive Portal Fortigate 200F with Access Point HP.

Welcome,

I am having trouble configuring the Captive Portal on the Fortigate 200F. The page with accepting the terms and conditions takes a long time to load (about 1 minute). I have an Access Point with HP MSM430 and MSM765 controller. Captive Portal is enabled on the interface in Security Mode. What can cause long loading of the terms and conditions?

FortiOS: v6.4.6 build5785

Interface type: VLAN in 802.3ad Aggregate

Firewall Policy:

- WIFI VLAN-2-LAN - DENY

- WIFI VLAN-2-WAN with NAT

DHCP: enable on Interface

DNS: 8.8.8.8

Sorry that this post was unaddressed so far.

Kindly let us know if you still have this issue and looking for any answer on the same or taken care of?

 

If still there, then let us know if the Captive Portal redirection is configured locally or Externally? And if externally, which Radius Server is handling that request and did you check on that Radius Server for any issues yet?

 

If Local option is used, then in "Redirect after Captive Portal", use Specific URL with 

http://FGTLANIP:1000/portal?
