Hello everyone, i working on new job and there is FortiGate 100F (i`am new to fortios)

Users pass captive portal authorization for internet access, but Security mode on Lan Interface is disabled,

also didn't find anything at config.

FortiOS cookbook shows that captive portal configurate at Interfaces, where another places i can find current settings of captive portal?

Hi Kengessov,

Captive portal must have be called via the firewall policy. Even if the firewall policy has user/user group configured then the captive portal will get trigger

Hi @Kengessov

You can check if captive portal is enabled on SSID , as well check the in User & Authenitcation- Authentication Settings if its enabled Captive Portal.

Thanks for reply, checked SSID and also just "Authentication settings", but still couldn't find where is captive portal enabled.

You have to change the Security mode to Captive Portal:
