Cannot set logging on any policy

Hi,

I cannot set logging on any ipv4 policy that i create, is grayed out with information "security fabric is enabled so logging will exempt traffic from downstream fortigate" What should I do to restore my logging options? I lastly added FortiAnalyzer to FGT.

Hi,

it's because of security fabric configuration sync for multiple fortigates in fabric. You need to change it to local first then it's possible to configure logging.

config system csf
set configuration-sync local
end
