I cannot install Foticlient VPN on my new windows PC.

Installation fails prematurely

Hello @sanket3345 ,

When I reviewed your machine specs, you used an arm-based machine. You cannot install it because the Windows desktop application has not been released for ARM machines yet.

You can use a workaround solution for using FortiClient.

I checked the woraround, but it does not support SAML login, which is required in my case.

Still, I tried the solution, but it doesn't connect.

Hoping to get FortiClient for ARM machine soon, if there is no other workaround.

In the same situation as you. Have a new microsoft laptop but cannot install forticlient due to the lack of arm support. Need the forticlient with saml login.

It would be nice if FortiGate would at least give an update / roadmap on when they are finally planning support for ARM64 for FortiClient VPN. Lot's of other suppliers already have support for ARM64.

Fortinet are claiming that a beta is in testing. However they have been saying this for many months. Just plain LIES. I am so fed up with the incompetence of this organisation it makes me sick!

I am pushing our strategy to completely move our hundreds of devices completely of Fortinet. I CANNOT SUPPORT such a bad company.
