Cannot configure fortigate while is registered on fortimanager

Hi, I cannot configure a fortigate while is registered under a fortimanager 400A with an user with limited permission: read-only on all section except firewall and utm that are in read-write mode. All the web-ui result in read-only mode. Can anybody help? Thanks a lot

    I believe a later firmware version of the Fortigate devices give you the option for read or read-write for the entire firewall.

    Has anyone figured out a way around this. To be able to configure a fortigate directly via its web UI while registered under a FortiManager. When I login it is all read-only. The UI says: This FortiGate is currently managed by a FortiManager Device. All changes should be performed from FortiManager to avoid conflict.

    The later version of MR3 on the fortigate units allow you to click the " continue" button to gain local web-interface modification access directly on the firewall.
