can't ping one device thru SSL VPN

Hi

Fortigate 50e running 5.6.4 firmware

SSL vpn configured and works - ip pool assigned 10.212.134.200-210

with VPN connected I can ping LAN address 10.0.0.2 - windows server , and other devices on LAN , but can't ping a linux box on 10.0.0.3 ??

linux box can ping out fine and ping the fortigate lan ip 10.0.0.252

linux box has been rebooted and checked it's default gateway is 10.0.0.252

any ideas folks ?

First thing to check is firewall like iptables on the machine. If nothing, I would run wireshark to see if the ping packets are actually arriving.
