can not download v5.4b1 from beta portal....

Not sure this helps, but 2 days ago, tech support told me it was still in alpha and not available for beta yet.

It's amazing the difference a day makes! Yesterday evening (Eastern time) the beta was released semi-privately. Meaning, you need to visit forti.net/beta to access the build.

I have serval request into Fortinet. I don't think they know that it is an issue.

Maybe post a screenshot of where the attempt to access  the build from the beta portal fails. I'm not enrolled (yet), so I couldn't confirm whether or not the site is fully functional.
