Can I have the same IP for virtual server and server pool?

Hi all,

 

Attached below is a FORTIWEB and a WEBSERVER connected to a Layer 3 switch.

 

The Layer 3 switch configured to

a) route traffic destined to WEBSERVER to the FORTIWEB

b) route traffic coming from the WEBSERVER to FORTIWEB

 

FORTIWEB is configured as Reverse Proxy. A Policy is configured with a virtual server IP same as server pool IP(10.0.0.1)

 

Will this configuration work?

 

My question is as such because I need the features provided by the FORTIWEB Reverse Proxy mode, but would like to have a very minimal network and DNS configuration change.
