Hello All,

Purchased an Fortigate 201 F, where i need to use 2x 10 GE SFP+ fortilink Slots as normal L3 port and further add it into portchannel. Is it possible.

Hi Vishal

I didn't test it before but this should help.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiswitch/7.0.8/devices-managed-by-fortios/801182/fortilink-mode-over-a-layer-3-network

Edit: It seems I misunderstood your question.

I searched internally and there are customer that are using the X3/X4 ports of a FGT 200F to successfully build a normal LAG with other network devices.

Yes, the ports can be removed from the Fortilink interface and than they will appear as standalone physical interfaces.

No need to remove it. You may need it another day so you will just add some other interfaces to it.
