Block downloading Files

Hi, I use FGT to filter web utilization by users/groups, and in order to optimize bandwidth use i want to block downloading files from internet for some groups. How can i do and manage this by fortigate? Regards,

    Hi 

    Then we have enable the DLP feature in fortigate. 

    SYSTEM > config > Turn on the DLP feature.

    Hi 

    You can block download from DLP. you can specify all file extension (i.e. .exe, .rar). Please follow below steps to do it (For ver 5.0)

    Go to Security Profile > DLP > file filter > Create new > Name > specify all file pattern > go to sensor > create new profile > create new > select file and then specify > then apply to policy.

    Many Thanks for your help.

    I have the last version, 5.2.2, and i didn't find DLP on Security profiles.

    Is that replaced by "Enable Web Content Filter" in Web Filter profiles?
