995 is incoming, no problem in that. only by sending. outgoing mail server mail.gmail.com port 465, SSL When i bypass the fortigate everything is working well. i connected a simple router just for checking. how can i bypass checking ssl certificate like gmail ? or why does my fortigate blocks it?
Hi, the " enable deep scanning" parameter from the HTTPS Tab in the Protcol Options will enable SSL scanning also on SMTPS/TLS sessions... So problems with certificate handling might come from this behavour.. sounds a bit weird and took me hours with support to get behind this... But this should NOT apply to the FGT60B as I think... best regards, Roman
