Ask - IP Public function under DDNS menu

hi there,

sorry if I missed something.

I tried to figure out how "ip public" under DDNS menu works.

1. is it "convert" ip private to IP public provided by Fortigate? or

2. "push"/trigger ISP to refresh connection continuously, so some-kind like restart mode?
