any reason that you'd put a 30e between the modem and the 101f????

 

i'm new to this manufacturer

Yes if you want to follow the two firewall layers model.

E.g.:

  • Your FG-30E to filter your internet traffic and for your DMZ
  • And your 101F as DC firewall (a small DC in this case)
