Alternative to adding many objects to an object group

I know how to add Address objects programatically via a script to the firewall for use in the polity.

However I still have to manually add these to a Address Group. We are talking about 1000 or so IP addresses.

How can I go about this without taking a month and possibly going nuts?

If you can run a python script, I've written one exactly for this purpose.

Input format is that of deny-hosts, but that's very simple.
