All devices state "Firmware Upgrade License Not Found"

In fortimanager our team was updating are fleet of fortigates without issue. Then one day all the fortigates display a status "Firmware Upgrade License Not Found". This is in Device Manager -> Firmware. Any idea?

Fortimanager does not have internet access.

Fortigate does have internet access 

FortiOs 5.6.4 on both FMG and FG

Hello, 

 

 

FMG needs to be connected to the Internet to have access to the FortiGaurd severs in order to get fds, fgd, and other services. 

 

Please run below commands to see if FMG is able to see different FortiGaurd servers:

 

diagnose fmupdate view-serverlist fds
