ADSL pass through

I have recently acquired a FortiGate firewall and am looking to set this up behind an adsl connection. Is it possibly to have the adsl modem/router pass all traffic directly through to the FortiGate? I have seen options for VPN pass-through mode but nothing that will terminate the adsl line from the ISP then pass all traffic to an internal device to carry out everything else (NAT, DNS, DHCP etc)

Set up the adsl router in bridge mode and configure one of the fortigate' s interfaces as PPPoE.

Also some routers support " dmz mode" " default server" and other things that mean pass everything to another device. It normally menas setting up a subnet between your modem and Firewall external interface

Thanks, I didn' t know the FortiGate had the ability to authenticate the PPPoE settings... Was really easy to set up and works a treat!
