Hello. I Install FortiClient Version: 4.2.3.271 in XP pro sp3 and tells me :: " Administrator rights are required to star FortiClient" but I start with a user with administrator privileges. Should I configure something else? ochoa.rafael at gmail.com ------------------- translated with google * Hola. yo Instale FortiClient version: 4.2.3.271 en XP pro sp3 y me dice que:: " Administrator rights are required to star FortiClient¡" pero yo inicie con un usuario con privilegios de administrador. Do you have a screenshot? Did you make any change to FortiClient services? (If you disable " FortiClient Service Scheduler" and start FortiClient manually, you will get this error) What processes were running when it happened? You can run " Task Manager" to show all processes.

I' ve had no problems running FC 4.2.3, 4.2.7 in XP SP3, from an account with admin priviledges. Under which account is the ' FortiClient' service started?

Hello. Thanks for responding. The installer program I downloaded from another site. Not the official website of the company. Apparently was installed wrong. Before I update the MSI, and something went wrong. I solved the problem with MSI. I had to uninstall it from the control panel with the " change" . I download the version 5 of the company' s website It' s working fine now. I' m testing the suite as a free alternative. Never heard of this program. How is this suite in the Rankin (anti-malware software)?
