Accessing Secondary HA Cluster - "Connection to x.x.x.x closed."

Hi,

 

Currently managing HA cluster, but when trying to access the secondary firewall via CLI, I keep on getting connection closed advised after approx. 10 seconds. What might be causing the issue?

 

I need to access the secondary firewall since the HA cluster keeps on getting out of sync.

 

"Connection to x.x.x.x closed."

Hi Heyyo,

On my understanding you are trying to access the secondary FGT using the command 'execute ha manage 0', right?
What Fortigate model and what is the firmware version?

Yes, I am trying to access it using that command. Its FG-80E in 7.4.4.

Anything which I need to check to see why the connection is being closed?

Hi @heyyo ,

 

Run "get sys ha status" to confirm whether two members can see each other or not.

 

Run "diag debug crashlog read" to check any crashes related to HA.

 

Run "diag sys top" to see whether HA-related daemons (hatalk, hasync) are stuck or not.
