About Fortimail history log

Hello

We are building FortiMail in gateway mode.

An internal mail server is installed under FortiMail.

Mail from outside to inside is displayed in the history log, but mail from inside to outside is not displayed in the history log.
Is this a configuration issue or a design issue?
Also, if you have a configuration problem, could you give me a solution?

you should configure you mail server specifically on Sent Connector to forward outgoing email traffic to FortiMail for scanning.

I bet your email server is the one sending out emails
