5.4 Device Detection IP addresses?

So i have recently upgraded all my production boxes to 5.4.5. One thing i have noticed is that if you have a custom device created, its IP address no longer shows up in the device inventory list. This is something that was not happening in 5.2.x.

For example, you have a bunch of machines that are detected on an interface, you see their hostnames and detected OS and their IP address. The devices that have been added as custom devices for use in policies don't show the IP address.

Does anyone else notice this behavior? I'm thinking it's a bug.
