5.2.x FSSO fortigate 200D

Greetings to you

Kindly, I'm planning to upgrade our firewall from  v5.0.11 to V5.2.x , Current setup is working with FSSO, Authentication using Single Sing On (using Agent installed in active directory server not using LDAP) , users in domain authenticated once they login with their credential using user name and password, and about uses not in domain it will considers as a FSSO Guest users, and we can give FSSO Guest users access to internet using FSSO Guest user Group, current setup worked with as perfectly without any problem.

 

 

Our boss asked me to upgrade firewall to v5.2.x, and I want to know if the FSSO in v5.2.x  will work without any problem?

Kindly please anybody worked with v5.2.x using FSSO? did you Faced any problem to setup FSSO Based on Agent?

I want to know if FSSO Based on Agent worked without any problem if users on domain or not in domain (guest users)

    Yes, it works. Just be aware of that you'll need to upgrade AD/Collector clients accordingly in order to make FSSO work, since there has been changes in how groups/users are collected and stored in the Fortigate.

    Follow the supported upgrade path and backup your config before each upgrade step so that you can revert if needed.
