1500D HA - Certificate uploading

Hello all,

 

I have a query regarding uploading certs to a pair of 1500D Fortigates in HA with multi tennant VDOM's.

 

Does it matter which firewall out of the HA pair you upload your certificate's on? To my understanding, if you upload it under Global it's useable on all VDOM's and if it fails over to the secondary firewall it will still be there? Is this correct or does it specifically need to be uploaded on the primary?.

    When you have tow fortigates in ha mode login to the root vdom and upload the cert. In failover it will be there at the secondary fw
