Troubleshooting Tip: HTTP Content Routing greyed out FortiWeb
Description
This article describes a scenario where the HTTP Content Routing option in a FortiWeb server policy appears greyed out, and the 'Create New' button cannot be selected when attempting to configure host-header-based routing.
Scope
FortiWeb.
Solution
Step 1: Navigate to Policy -> Server Policy.
Step 2: Change the Deployment Mode from Single Server/Server Balance to HTTP Content Routing.
Step 3: Confirm the configuration change by selecting the green OK button at the bottom of the screen. This must be done before proceeding.
Step 4: After confirming, the Create New button will appear. Select it to proceed.
Step 5: Configure the desired settings in the HTTP Content Routing Policy and the Server Policy, then save.
