Technical Tip: Security Fabric connection between FortiWeb and FortiClient EMS Cloud is not working

There are FortiWeb and FortiClient EMS Cloud as security solutions in the network. When the Security Fabric connection is configured in the FortiWeb to connect with the FortiClient EMS Cloud, a connection cannot be established between these solutions.

It could show errors related with the installed certificated or other type of errors.

This Security Fabric connection in FortiWeb is configured in Security Fabric -> Fabric Connectors, choose Create New, and in Core Network Security choose 'FortiClient EMS'. Then, although the configuration is made pointing to forticlient.forticloud.com and the EMS ZTNA certificate was installed, FortiWeb shows the error:

This situation happens because FortiWeb and FortiClient EMS Cloud are NOT compatible with each other so far. This applies to any FortiWeb solution: Hardware appliance, Virtual Machine or Cloud.
