Technical Tip: How to create service port POP3 995 on FortiWeb for server policy

By default, port 995 is used in FortiWeb in config-sync.

1. Configuring custom port 995 on service can give an error as the port is used for config sync.

2. To configure this, the port has to be changed under System -> Admin -> Settings -> Config-Sync and change the port to other than 995.

    

   

    

    

3. After changing the port, Apply the changes.

    

4. Go to Server Objects -> Service ->Custom -> Create New.

    

   

    

5. This Port 995 can now be used under server policy.
