Technical Tip : Provisioning FortiFone 470i phones manually
Description
This article explains how to register the phone to the system if it does not automatically provision.
Solution
The FortiFone should be configured as shown below.
Populate 'Label' with any selected name.
'Name' with the extension number
'Register name' is the username of the extension. This information can be obtained by going to the extension and clicking on the down arrow.
'Password' can be changed. This information can be obtained by going to the extension and clicking on the down arrow.
Add the system 'IP address' and 'Port' under "SIP Server".
Scroll down and click 'Confirm'.
