Technical Tip: How to enable personal recording

This article describes how to enable personal recording during a call.

Scope

FortiVoice 6.4.x, 7.0.x, 7.2.x, 7.4.x.

Solution

To enable personal recording, the user needs to enter *30 in the keypad. The recording will start until the call is hung up (the recording can be paused by entering *31).
To listen to the personal recording, log in to the user portal at https://<FortiVoice_IP_address>/voice/.

For the login, use the Extension and the password set under Web Access.

In the portal, choose Call Recording:

Select the call recording.
