Technical Tip: Enable CLI to factory reset FortiFones IP phones

At FortiVoice CLI , where the FortiFone extension registers, apply the below command:

config system global 

    set websocket-cli enable
end

By GUI, under Extension -> Extension -> IP Extension -> Actions, select 'Apply Configuration' for changes that take place at the FortiFone extension.

Open an SSH session to access the FortiFone IP and apply the below command:

exec factoryreset
