Technical Note: FortiGate - Configuring FortiSwitch remote management mode

This article explains how to change the FortiSwitch from Stand-alone mode be managed by a FortiGate.
Solution
In the FortiSwitch GUI:
- Dashboard > Status > Operation Mode
- Select the option [Change]
- From the drop-down menu, select “FortiGate Remote Management” and click OK.

Important: After changing from one mode to another, It will remove the FortiSwitch configuration and reboot the system.
