FSR Installation on Rocky Linux 9.6 Fails

Tried to install FSR 7.6.2 on Rocky Linux 9.6 on a Azure VM and getting the below error:

ERROR: Failed to install tar package.
       Please install tar package manually and re-run the script.

Appreciate if you can provide a quick resolution.
