Troubleshooting Tip: Failure of connectors’ health check and actions even for trusted certificates

This article describes how to troubleshoot the ‘certificate verification’ error, which causes failures of connectors’ health checks and actions even for trusted certificates.

This issue occurs in systems that have been upgraded from FortiSOAR releases prior to 6.0.0.

For example, this issue would be faced by systems that were upgraded to release 7.3.0 from release 5.2.0 (following the stage-wise upgrade path).

The 'Verify SSL Certificates' check fails for connectors, even for trusted certificates, when the FortiSOAR is upgraded from releases prior to 6.0.0.

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1) SSH to the FortiSOAR VM and log in as a root user.

2) Download the attached zip file and extract the format-integrations-truststore.py file to the FortiSOAR-VM.

3) Run the format-integrations-truststore.py script using the following command:

chmod 755 format-integrations-truststore.py
./format-integrations-truststore.py

4) Restart the uWSGI service using the following command:

systemctl restart uwsgi
