Description This article describes a solution to the issue of being unable to view any playbook when logging in using SSO with AAD in FortiSOAR, resulting in an error message stating 'Error: Unauthorized Access'. The user is able to access the playbook list but gets redirected to the /unauthorized page when trying to open a playbook.
Scope FortiSOAR.
Solution

To resolve the issue of unauthorized access to Playbooks in FortiSOAR, perform the following checks:

  1. Log in to the FortiSOAR instance using AAD SSO.
  2. Navigate to Playbooks -> Collections.
  3. Open the affected collection and verify that the Teams field includes the user’s team.
  4. If the team is not included, add it and retry access.
  5. Verify that the Playbook is not set to Private or restricted to another team.
  6. If the issue persists, verify the AAD SSO mapping to ensure the user is mapped to the correct team and role.

If the Playbook is set to Private, update the visibility settings to allow appropriate access.
