Description

This article describes how to resolve the 'No matching connector by name xxx exist' error.

Scope

FortiSOAR.

Solution

Occasionally, connectors that are installed incorrectly in FortiSOAR may have some dependency missing in the backend. The connector will be available in the GUI but it is not functional and will generate the error below if the users attempt to use it:

For this example, the Exchange connector is having the issues. To resolve this issue, users need to reinstall from the CLI:

# wget https://repo.fortisoar.fortinet.com/connectors/x86_64/cyops-connector-exchange-4.2.0-8004.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm

# yum install cyops-connector-exchange-4.2.1-8004.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm

Note:

The name of the connector can be verified/found by visiting the FortiSOAR repo website https://repo.fortisoar.fortinet.com/connectors/x86_64/
