Troubleshooting Tip: FortiSIEM Analytics unable to save filter

This article provides a method to troubleshoot FortiSIEM Analytics unable to save the filter of the search due to No WRITE Permission.
Scope
FortiSIEM.
Solution
FortiSIEM Analytics provides the option to save filters for future applications. It can ease the users for queries frequently used to analyze the logs. However, this option may not be available to restricted users with fewer permission roles.
If users face the error 'No WRITE Permission' as below during the operation:

The users need to request from the Super Admin to enable 'EDIT' Permission in 'Resource/Report' for the roles. The configuration can be edited via Admin -> Settings -> Role Management -> Edit the Roles.

After that, the restricted users should be able to perform 'Save Filter' in the Analytics.
