The AWS console has offered the option to install deprecated images via Amazon Machine Images (AMIs). Now however, once the subscriptions are successful, the version field will display only the latest images:
The describe-images command has been used to query and retrieve the list of all the images available, including public and private, the output is used to list several images from the newest to the oldest. Below, the current output through the CloudShell interface is shown, which is basically the same as the EC2 console:
