Technical Note: ZoneFox 4.2 - Blackholing old agents

Agents using a very old API (≤ 2.8) can no longer have their data processed. 

For agents using version ≤ 2.8, ZoneFox will;

• Accept a login request

• Accept agent data (to prevent offline databases from growing)

• Drop all data from these agents

In order to continue receiving data from these agents, you must update your agents.

From version 4.3 onwards, login requests will no longer be accepted from agents using versions ≤ 2.8.
