Sometimes after deploying AO, depending on ESXi default configuration and environment you may have an error message preventing you from turning on AO.
In this case you will have to configure the IP pool for AO.

To configure an IP pool:
- Use the vSphere client to navigate to the datacenter with the deployed VM.
- Navigate to the IP Pools tab.
- Select Add.
- Enter the IP Pool Name.
- Navigate to the appropriate tab (IPv4 or IPv6).
- Enter the Subnet information.
- Enter the Gateway information.
- Select Enable IP Pool.
- Enter a Range.
- Navigate to the Associations tab.
- Select the network to use with the IP Pool.
- Click OK.
- Start the VM.
or Lastly, turn off vApp, if no pools are used
- Right Click the VM and edit settings
- Select Options
- Select vAPP
- Select Disable
- Click OK
- Start the VM
