Can I deploy the Virtual Appliance without Local Attached Storage?

You have a couple of options.

Option 1
Assign the disk from within VMware.
Disk one for OS (about 80 Gigs)
Disk Two for data (use sizing chart they you were previously given)

Option 2
Use an NFS mount point for data storage during the installation setup of the AO-VA.
