Technical Note: [Accelops KB] Informational - Why does Discovery fail for JDBC to MS SQL Server 2012?

I have configured a JDBC credential for MS SQL Server 2012 but Test Connectivity and Discovery fail.

I get the error:  "failed (Login failed for user 'sa').

But I can successfully log in to SQL Server  with this user.

 

Steps

Upgrade your AO to 3.7.1 and try to discovery this device with the JDBC credential again.

 

Background Information

Prior to AO version 3.7.1 MS SQL server 2012 is not supported.
