This Article Explain why there may be different number of devices when comparing dashboard view cs the CMDB view.

Additional Information

Some devices in the CMDB may be log discovered and there is no credential associated with those devices.

• We do not performance monitor log discovered devices

If there are devices that are not shown in the dashboard but in the CMDB with credentials please attempt to rediscover them

If you find that they are still not showing up after they've been properly discovered, please call support.
