Description

Why need this tool for merging phoenix_config at the system upgrades?

Our existing phoenix_config is sectionized in different process groups. We always have the potentials in adding or deleting any configuration lines or sections. At each VA and Worker system upgrade, several cases need to be taken cared of as to ensure a consistent working system:

   1. the new phoenix_configuration has added and/or deleting options in lines and/or sections as to support updated features

   2. during a patching process, some options have been updated in accordance to the patched binaries and/or libraries, etc.

   3. the old phoenix_configuration has been customized with special options by users or support during optimizations

In short, the phoenix_config variations can be dynamic and a full diff/merge, is required with user's interactions during each system upgrade.
