Can FortiSIEM Dashboard Widgets Auto-Clear ?

I'm trying to create a dashboard widget that displays network devices with 100% packet loss, but I need these entries to automatically disappear from the widget when the packet loss value changes to 0.

Is this functionality applicable to FortiSIEM dashboards? If yes, how can I implement this?

What I'm looking for: A dashboard that shows only current devices with 100% packet loss, not historical ones that have already recovered

FortiSIEM version: 7.5

    Hi @Ammar387,

We usually tackle that with Incidents. I think, there should already be a rule based on packet loss which auto-clears when the device is back online.

You'd then create a report (which is the basis for dashboards) which selects Incidents only from certain targets and the Availability types and only open Incidents (load a predefined Incident-report into Analytics and play around a little bit until you get what you need).

In case you don't want to use Incidents and consider the specific ping-loss-logs instead, you might need to take a very short timeframe for the dashboard.

There also is a predefined Summary Dashboard (see https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortisiem/7.5.0/user-guide/515431/summary-dashboard), which might help for your usecase.

    Best,

    Christian
