This article describes how to manually upgrade the Antivirus Engine on FortiSandbox and how to manually upgrade the AV engine.
Scope FortiSandbox.
Solution

To manually upgrade the AntiVirus engine on FortiSandBox, follow these steps:

  1. Go to System -> FortiGuard on the left sidebar

  1. Select Upload Package File, select the .pkg file provided by the eTAC engineer, and select OK.

  1. A pop-up window will confirm whether the package update was successful.
  2. Refresh the FortiGuard page, and the Antivirus Scanner version should now display the updated version.
