Troubleshooting Tip: Unable to change management VDOM in FortiProxy

| Solution | Unlike FortiGate, where a management-vdom setting is available in the config system global settings CLI, it is also possible to toggle the change on the GUI.
An example of FortiGate GUI is shown below:
However, FortiProxy does not support setting a non-root VDOM as the management VDOM.

As such, the 'Switch Management' option is not be available on FortiProxy GUI for VDOM settings. Note: FortiGuard settings cannot be configured in any VDOM other than the root VDOM. Configuring them in a different VDOM will result in FortiGuard services becoming unavailable.
This is not a bug - it is expected behavior for FortiProxy. |
