Troubleshooting Tip: Duplicate explicit-outgoing-ip entries allowed in FortiProxy

Description This article describes the behavior where the FortiProxy GUI allows duplicate IP entries for explicit-outgoing-ip after saving changes in Advanced Settings.
Scope FortiProxy v7.4 and v7.6.
Solution

After upgrading to v7.6.4, the GUI incorrectly allows duplicate IPs in 'explicit-outgoing-ip' when modifying:

Web Proxy → Settings → Advanced Settings.

Example: after disabling Fast Policy Match and selecting Save, the following CLI configuration is applied:
The GUI behavior incorrectly permits overriding the outgoing IP with values that already exist:

config web-proxy global
    set fast-policy-match disable
    set explicit-outgoing-ip 10.10.10.10 10.10.10.10
end

This behavior may lead to proxy and traffic handling issues that do not properly validate or preserve the existing explicit-outgoing-ip configuration when saving changes.

The identified issue has been resolved in FortiProxy versions 7.4.14 and 7.6.7, where the GUI now correctly validates and preserves the explicit-outgoing-ip configuration.
