Technical Tip: Limitation on the number of SOCKS ports for Explicit Proxy

FortiProxy supports up to 7 incoming ports for SOCKS.

On the GUI, after configuring seven SOCKS ports, attempting to add an eighth port and selecting 'Apply' results in no update or change, as shown below.

FortiGate (web-proxy) # set socks-incoming-port 11000-11001 12000-12001 13000-13001 14000-14001 33000 34000 8080 10000

It is not possible to set port ranges over 8; the current port ranges are: 8.
