Technical Tip: FortiProxy firmware version 7.6.6 does not show zones in policy creation

Description

This article describes a known issue on FortiProxy 7.6.6 regarding firewall policy creation and modification.

Scope

FortiProxy 7.6.6.

Solution

After upgrading FortiProxy to firmware version 7.6.6, it is not possible to create any policy in the GUI with a zone interface as destination, as FortiProxy does not show the zone interfaces in the drop-down selection menu. Zone information is also missing under Network -> Interfaces in the GUI.

In CLI, the zone is visible and can be set as destination interface.

This issue only occurs when the GUI is set to 'Classic Layout'. Zones can be used in the 'New Layout'.
